Zoran Šami is the speaker of the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro from Democratic Party of Serbia.

He was born in 1948 in Valjevo. He graduated from Mathematics Faculty in Belgrade. He also holds PhD from Mathematics. He worked as the professor of Transport University. He was member of Democratic Party from 1990 to 1992 and in Democratic Party of Serbia he was vice-president from 2000 - 2003.
