Villeneuve-Loubet is a town and commune in southeastern France, in the Alpes-Maritimes département, between Cagnes-sur-Mer and Antibes, with the mouth of the Loup River. It is consisted of the joining two old village: the old village of Villeneuve inland and the village of Loubet on banks of the Mediterranean Sea.
Economy
It is at the same time a seaside resort and part of the technopole of Sophia Antipolis, many companies of the tertiary sector being installed in the city.
Culture
Villeneuve-Loubet is the fatherland of the large provençal cook 19th century, Auguste Escoffier, the author of the Guide Culinaire.
