John Trevor Blokdyk (born 30 November 1935 in Krugersdorp, Transvaal, South Africa) was a Formula One driver who raced for the Cooper team. He once was a South African speedway champion. He competed in Formula One for the first time in the Kyalami circuit in 1961, during a non-championship race, but spun out in the eighth lap. In late 1962 he went to Europe to pursue a careera in Formula Junior and was soon a front-runner. In 1963 he took part in his only World Championship race at East London. He continued in Formula Junior in 1964 and then moved into Formula 3 and scored some good results, including a win at Magny-Cours and Nogaro . In 1966 he raced in Formula 2 at Rouen and finished sixth. Later he suffered serious injuries in a crash at Albi which ended his career.
