A thought bomb is a fictional weapon from the Star Wars universe.

The only known thought bomb was activated by Lord Kaan in the catastrophic Battle of Ruusan. A thought bomb destroys all biological signs within a certain radius. Not even single-celled organisms survive. Mysteriously, a Sith Lord named Darth Bane escaped. The method which he used is still unknown. Most of the rivalry between Lord Kaan and Darth Bane was on how to prevent a thought bomb from affected you. Darth Bane called it a "Mind Lock". Lord Kaan killed himself and all the other Sith and Jedi on Ruusan. Bane never revealed his secret of how to escape a thought bomb; the secret died with him.
