The Crow: Salvation was the third movie based on The Crow comic by James O'Barr. It was directed by Bharat Nalluri and released direct to video in 2000. The original movie gained a cult following while the second (The Crow: City of Angels) was poorly received.
The story revolves around Alex Corvis (Eric Mabius ) who is wrongly executed for the murder of his girlfriend. He is brought back to life to seek justice, getting revenge on the true murderers. Eventually he discovers a corrupt police force and needs the help of his girlfriend's sister, played by Kirsten Dunst.
Although far from a success this film was seen to be much better than the other sequel, The Crow: City of Angels.
