Tariq Saigol is the head of the Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group. The Saigol family is a very old and respected family in Pakistan. They hail from Lahore and are assocatied with having very lavish lifestyles. Their primary business concerns are Khinoor Textiles and Maple Leaf Cement. The saigols also used to own United Bank Limited which was nationalized by the government in the 1970's. It has now been bought by the Bestway group.
