Sohrab Sepehri (سهراب سپهری in Persian) was a popular modern Iranian poet and painter. He is frequently counted among the five famous modern Iranian poets, the others being Nima Youshij, Ahmad Shamlou, Mehdi Akhavan-Sales, and Forough Farrokhzad, all of them now dead.
