The Society of Genealogists is a UK-based charitable organisation whose objects are to "promote, encourage and foster the study, science and knowledge of genealogy".
Its library, at its headquarters in Clerkenwell, London has an extensive collection of genealogical material, including a very large collection of Parish Register transcripts and indexes.
It runs an extensive range of lectures and courses, and publishes a quarterly Journal.
