Slim Borgudd

Slim Borgudd (born Karl Edward Tommy Borgudd on 25 November 1946 in Borgholm, Kalmar, Sweden) was a Formula One driver who raced for the ATS and Tyrrell teams. Oddly enough, Borgudd was once a drummer for Swedish pop music group ABBA. He started racing when he was over 30, which did not stop him from winning the 1979 Formula 3 title and finishing third in the European series that year. In 1981 he entered Formula 1 in ATS and in 1982 he moved to Tyrrell, but didn't achieve major results and eventually moved to touring cars. In 1994 he won the World Truck Racing Championship.
