Sankei Shimbun(産経新聞) is a Japanese language daily newspaper.
Sankei Shimbun is the 6th most circulated newspaper in Japan. Sankei Shimbun's view is right-wing, pro-American, anti-Chinese, and is relatively similar to that of Yomiuri Shimbun, which is the most circulated newspaper in Japan.
Sankei Shimbun often has different opinions from the left-wing, anti-American and pro-Chinese newspaper Asahi Shimbun, which is the 2nd most circulated newspaper in Japan. The difference often causes a lot of heated discussions between Sankei Shimbun and Asahi Shimbun.
