Richard Long is a former New Zealand broadcaster, best known in that country as television newsreader, first with the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation (NZBC), and then with Television New Zealand (TVNZ). He co-hosted the main news bulletin on TV One, with Judy Bailey.

He left TVNZ in 2004 to pursue a freelance career, after cutbacks at the network that saw the nightly bulletin reduced from two presenters to one.
