Rancid News

Rancid News is a relatively young punk fanzine, having only been started in the spring of 2003.

Initially it came out whilst Fracture and Reason To Believe (fanzine) were still in existence, it now finds itself in the slightly uncomfortable position of being seen to have to fill their place in the UK punk scene. A key difference between RN, RTB and Fracture is that RN is not free, and is sold outside gigs, and in record stores rather than just being left for people to pick up. Whilst being compared to both Fracture and Reason To Believe, people have recently started to compare it to San Francisco based Maximum RocknRoll, due largely to similar political beliefs and ideas on what punk 'should be'!
