Ping Shan

Ping Shan (屏山) is an area of Hong Kong, part of Yuen Long district, in the New Territories.

Sights

The Ping Shan Heritage Trail was opened on December 12, 1993. It includes:

  • Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda - Hong Kong's only ancient pagoda
  • Tang Ancestral Hall - one of the largest ancestral halls in the territory
  • Yu Kiu Ancestral Hall
  • Sheung Cheung Wai, a walled village
  • Kun Ting Study Hall - built for students preparing for the Imperial civil service examination
  • Hung Shing Temple
  • Yeung Hau Temple together
  • several other Chinese buildings.

The Tang Ancestral Hall, the Yu Kiu Ancestral Hall and the Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda are declared monuments of Hong Kong.

Transportation

Ping Shan is served by the Tin Shui Wai station of the West Rail line of the KCRC rail network.
