Nippon Sharyo (日本車両) , formed in 1896, in one of the Japanese major rolling stock manufacturers in Nagoya. It is a listed company on Nikkei 225.

Notable projects include Los Angeles's LACMTA LRV, Singapore's MRT EMU and the Shinkansen.
