Michael Bleekemolen (born 2 October 1949 in Amsterdam, Holland) was
a Formula One driver who raced for the March and ATS teams.
He graduated from Formula Super Vee and tried his hand at Formula 1 in 1977, where he
failed to qualify. Nevertheless, he returned the following year and drove for four races.
After Formula 1 he returned to Formula 3 for another three years and won two rounds of
the European Championship, finishing second in the series, to Alain Prost. From there he
moved to Renault racing before retiring and keeping an eye on his sons Jeroen and
Sebastian, who are also racers.
