The Mazda Verisa is a "tall" hatchback based on the Mazda2 or Mazda Demio subcompact car, launched in 2004.

The relationship between the Verisa and the Demio is similar to that of the Ford Fusion and Ford Fiesta, on whose platform the cars are built.
