Maori Queen

The Queen of the Maori people of New Zealand. A non-constitutional role. The current Maori Queen, Te Atairangi Kaahu, is of the line of the first Màori King, P̣tatau Te Wherowhero and was elected in 1966.

The official residence is Turongo House in Turangawaewae in the Waikato.
