This is a list of divisions of the United States Army since the restructuring of the United States Army during World War I. Armored, cavalry, and infantry are each numbered in their own sequences, and are thus grouped; the airborne and mountain divisions are numbered with the other infantry.
Additional fictitious divisions belonging to the non-existent U.S. Fourteenth Army were created as part of the Operation Quicksilver deception in 1944.
