Kraków Uprising
The Kraków Uprising of February 1846 was an attempt to incite an all-Polish fight for home-rule but was in fact limited only to the Free City of Kraków. The uprising, led by Edward Dembowski , was quickly suppressed by the Austrian army, and followed by Kraków's incorporation into the Austrian Empire as Grand Duchy of Kraków .
