Karisma Kapoor (born 25 June 1974 at Mumbai, India) is a Bollywood actress.

She is the daughter of Randhir Kapoor , an actor popular during the 1970s and 80s and the granddaughter of Raj Kapoor. She made her debut in the 1991 movie Prem Quaidi and has since then acted in approximately sixty movies.

On 29 September 2003, she married industrialist Sanjay Kapoor according to Sikh marriage rites. The couple had their first child, a baby girl, on 11 March 2005.
