Kan'ami (観阿弥, 観阿彌: 1333–1384) was a noh actor and author in Japan during the Muromachi period. Together with his son Zeami Motokiyo, he expanded the horizons of noh, and founded the Kanze school of acting. The third Muromachi shogun, Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, was his patron.
