Jude Watson is a novelist for young readers, usually preteens. She is probably best known for her Star Wars works, which are usually set in the prequel era and involve the Jedi. Clear examples of these include the Jedi Apprentice and Jedi Quest series and Legacy of the Jedi . She wrote journals from the point of view of Princess Leia, Padmé Amidala and, for a change of pace, Darth Maul. She also helpped write the series with K. D. Burkett .
Her non-Star Wars works include the Brides of Wildcat County series and the novel Premonitions.
