Jesse Hartley 1780-1860 Architect, designed The Albert Dock at Liverpool, England.

Jesse Hartley designed and built the Albert Dock and its warehouses, he was surveyor to the Liverpool Dock Trustees .In his thirty six year reign as Dock engineer (1824-1860), Jesse Hartley built sixteen docks in total.
