Island Def Jam Records is a record label which started when Universal Music merges it two daughters Island Records and Def Jam. The label also encompasses American Recordings, Lost Highway Records, Roadrunner Records, and the pop and rock back catalog of the Mercury Records and Casablanca Records imprints.
