Herbs was a reggae/dub band based in New Zealand from the early 1980s until 1995. They are considered pioneers of the Polynesian reggae/dub sound, paving the way for polynesian hiphop.

They came to prominence with their first number one single, French Letter, a protest song about French nuclear bomb testing at Mururoa Atoll. They had ten top-20 singles hits.
