Harriet Fay

Harriet Eleanor Fay (October 29, 1829 - February 27, 1924) is the great-grandmother of President George H. W. Bush and great-great-grandmother of President George W. Bush.

Fay was born in Savannah, Georgia. She married Rev. James Smith Bush on February 24, 1859, in Trinity Church, New York City, and together they had just one child, Samuel P. Bush, named after Harriet Fay's grandfather, Samuel Prescott Phillips Fay (January 10, 1778 - May 18, 1856).

Fay died in Boston, Massachusetts.

Harriet Eleanor Fay's father was Sameul Howard Fay. His father was Samuel Prescott Philips Fay. His mother was Lucy Prescott, and her father was Abel Prescott. Abel's father was Jonathan Prescott and Jonathan's mother was Elizabeth Hoar. Elizabeth Hoar's father was John Hoar.
