The city of Gusev (Гусев, prior to 1946 - Gumbinnen) in Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia (formerly East Prussia, Germany) has about 20,000 inhabitants. It is situated close to the border with Lithuania, east of Chernyakhovsk.

Gusev is also the name of a crater on Mars, the landing site of the MER-A rover.
