In the context of fat fetishism, the feedee is the submissive counterpart to the feeder. As part of this relationship, the feedee is fed, either for the purpose of gaining weight, or for the sheer pleasure.
The feeding subculture is often denounced by the mainstream fat acceptance community as an unhealthy fetish. Since the submissives in such relationships are almost always women, the practice is frequently characterized as misogynistic or at least disrespectful toward women. Feeders and feedees maintain that their relationships are consensual and in no way unhealthy for either partner.
Because of their prototypical role in the subculture, feedees are often the subject of adult websites catering to fat admirers.
