In the anime series Gundam X, the Old Earth Federation introduced the Gundam-type mobile suit in the 7th Space War to fight against the Space Revolutionary Army. Each Gundam featured a flash system, which allowed a Newtype to remotly controll a number of bit mobile suits. The FW-9800 GW-Bit was one such a bit and it was used by the GW-9800 Gundam Airmaster. The only weapons of GT-Bit were the same buster rifles which are used by the Gundam Airmaster. When the SRA dropped a great amount of colonies on the Earth, all GW-Bits were destroyed and only one Gundam Airmaster survived.
