In the anime series Gundam X, the Old Earth Federation introduced the Gundam-type mobile suit in the 7th Space War to fight against the Space Revolutionary Army. Each Gundam featured a flash system, which allowed a Newtype to remotly controll a number of bit mobile suits. The FT-9600 GT-Bit was one such a bit and it was used by the GT-9600 Gundam Leopard. The only weapon of GT-Bit was the same inner arm Gatling which is used by the Gundam Leopard. When the SRA dropped a great amount of colonies on the Earth, all GT-Bits were destroyed and only one Gundam Leopard survived.
