Eugenio Castellotti, born October 10, 1930 - died March 14, 1957, was a Formula One driver from Italy.
Born in Lodi to a family of means, he acquired a Ferrari at the age of twenty and began racing sports cars. Signed by Scuderia Ferrari, Castellotti participated in 14 grands prix, debuting on January 16, 1955. He secured 1 pole positions, achieved 3 podiums, and scored a total of 19.5 championship points.
Eugenio Castellotti was famous for his suave manner and finely tailored clothes, gaining much publicity for his relationship with ballerina and actress, Delia Scala.
He was killed in 1957 while attempting a speed record at the Modena Auto drome in Modena.
