Elections in Djibouti gives information on election and election results in Djibouti.

Djibouti elects on national level a head of state - the president - and a legislature. The president is elected for a six year term by the people. The National Assembly (Assemblée Nationale) has 65 members, 33 Issa and 32 Afar, elected for a five year term in multi-seat (4 to 37 seats) constituencies. Djibouti is a one party dominant state with the People's Rally for Progress in power. Opposition parties are allowed, but are widely considered to have no real chance of gaining power.

Presidential elections

• April 8, 2005: Ismail Omar Guelleh was re-elected for a second term as President of Djibouti. He won 100% of the ballots cast, and reportedly told Le Figaro that he regretted "having no opponent". [1]
• April 9, 1999: Ismail Omar Guelleh, candiate of the ruling People's Rally for Progress was elected with 74.1 % of the vote. Moussa Ahmed Idriss of the National Democratic Party won 25.9 % of the vote. Turnout was 56.3 %.
