Elections in Djibouti gives information on election and election results in Djibouti.
Djibouti elects on national level a head of state - the president - and a legislature. The president is elected for a six year term by the people. The National Assembly (Assemblée Nationale) has 65 members, 33 Issa and 32 Afar, elected for a five year term in multi-seat (4 to 37 seats) constituencies.
Djibouti is a one party dominant state with the People's Rally for Progress in power. Opposition parties are allowed, but are widely considered to have no real chance of gaining power.
