The Dnipro (Ukrainian: Дніпро, after the Dnieper River; Днепр in Russian) is a Ukrainian rocket manufactured by the Yuzhnoe Design Bureau in Dnipropetrovsk. It is an expendable launch system based on the SS-18 ICBM.
The NSAU and NASA are preparing to sign an agreement to launch an unmanned flight to the moon, using a Dnipro rocket in 2006 or 2007.
