Deccan Herald is the largest English daily newspaper in the state of Karnataka in India. It is published by the Printers (Mysore) Private Limited and has two editions - a Bangalore edition and a Hubli edition. Deccan Herald was started in 1948. Its sister publications are the Prajavani daily newspaper in Kannada, the weekly magazine Sudha , and the monthly magazine Mayura all in Kannada.
