David Mitchell is a British comedian, actor and writer, and one half of Mitchell and Webb, alongside Robert Webb, whom he met while they were both students at Cambridge. With Webb, he performed with the famous Cambridge Footlights.
After Cambridge, they appeared in two series of the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, written and starred in the Radio 4 sketch show That Mitchell and Webb Sound , and put on a number of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. David has also appeared in Doctors and Nurses, a sitcom on BBC2.
Mitchell and Webb have written for Armstrong and Miller, and Big Train. They often appear with Olivia Colman , who was in both Peep Show and That Mitchell and Webb Sound.
