David Hedley Ennals, Baron Ennals of Norwich, PC, (born August 19, 1922) was a British Labour politician and campaigner for human rights.
Ennals was elected as MP for Dover (1964-70), and Norwich North (Feb.1974-1983), and in 1976 became Secretary of State for Social Services. Losing his seat in the General Election of 1983, he was awarded a life peerage, and became Chairman of the United Nations Association the following year.
