Daisy Duke is a fictional character, played by Catherine Bach, from the American television series The Dukes of Hazzard. She was the cousin of Bo and Luke Duke, the main protagonists of the show, who were themselves cousins of each other. She was most famous as a sex symbol for wearing short cut-off jeans shorts which became popularly known as Daisy Dukes. In the upcoming motion picture remake of Dukes of Hazzard, scheduled for release in 2005, the role of Daisy Duke is played by Jessica Simpson.
