Christopher Hewett, (April 5, 1922 – August 3, 2001), was a British actor who may be best known for his role as Mr. Lynn Belvedere on the ABC sitcom Mr. Belvedere. He also portrayed Mr. Roarke's sidekick Lawerence on the final season of the original Fantasy Island, and the effeminate stage director Roger DeBris in Mel Brooks's classic 1968 film comedy The Producers.

Hewett was a devout Roman Catholic, a veteran of the Royal Air Force, and a lifelong bachelor. He was a diabetic and his death was a consequence of complications brought on by that disease.

He was a descendant of the Irish political agitator Daniel O'Connell.
