Chashan (Simplified Chinese: 茶山; Traditional Chinese: 茶山; pinyin:cháshān) is a town located in northeast Dongguan City, 11.5 km away.

Transport

Thought the Kowloon Canton Railway is though Chashan, it is not a convenient way to travel from Guangzhou (Canton) or Shenzhen or Kowloon (HKSAR) to Chashan by train as it costs a lot of time. The best way to travel to Chashan is by bus. There are a lot of bus service linked to Chashan.

Famouse fruit

What the famouse fruit of Chashan is litchi (Simplified Chinese:荔枝, comes from litchi chinensis, a Chinese tree, that bears bright red fruits, each of which has a large single seed with a white, fleshy, edible aril). The best of tasting fresh litchi is from May to July.
