Bevel Lemelisk is a character in the Star Wars Expanded Universe who is credited in several sources with being the inventor and primary designer of the Death Star. Lemelisk's role in the Death Star construction is contradicted, however, in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones when the Death Star is shown to have been created by the Geonosians.

Later Star Wars literature credited Lemelisk with creating weapons known as "World Devestators", capable of demolishing entire planets.
