Benzophenone, also known as diphenylmethanone, phenyl ketone, diphenyl ketone, or benzoylbenzene. The chemical formula is (C₆H₅)₂CO / Ph₂CO. Substituted benzophenones like oxybenzone and dioxybenzone are used in sunscreen.
