Belusa is a village in Slovakia with population just over 6000. It bellongs to the Puchov County as well as to the Trencin region. It has been made out of 4 parts. Belusa, Belusske Slatiny, Hloza and Podhorie. The town hall is located in Belusa. The willage is also a crossroad on the main road from Trencin to Zilina. The main railway line from Bratislava to Kosice via Zilina has got a stop here. River Vah flows close to the village. Part of Belusa are also Belusa Baths. The history of the village goes all the way to the year 1330. (Belusa was mentioned for the first time in a written document).
