Shortly after the seige of Rhen Var, the republic had scanned some unusual activity on Raxus Prime. The Republic decided to send a strike force led by Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi to check out the activity.

Once they arrived, Analin and Obi-Wan went to the surface to scout the area. After they took out an enemy scout party, they had found an enemy excavation site they called there assault ship for reinforments.

Anakin and Obi-Wan made an attack on some supply convoys to stall time for their Strike force. Once the strike force landed, they fought a treacherous journey filled with traps and surprise attacks. When the finally got to the excavation site the had their beta forces waiting at the back sheild for them to knock it out. Once at the main crane site they destroyed the sheild generator to allow the beta forces to enter the battle feild. Both strike teams attacked and destroyed the remaining defence forces and the cranes fuel lines.

As the battle was winding down, Anakin spotted Count Dooku escaping in a Techno Union Transport and followed him. Once The Starhip lift off, the Confederates released their deadly assualt machine, the Protodeka. The Protodeka completely decimated the strike force and only Obi-Wan Survived. Obi-Wan single-handedly destroyed the war machine, but Count Dooku's ship had already left the system with Anakin and his Deadly machine.
