Aydin (Turkish spelling: Aydın) is a province of Turkey, and its located in the southwestern Anatolian district, or more specifically in the Aegan region, in Turkish called Ege bölgesi. The capital of the province is Aydın City with a population of approx. 150,000 (2000).
