Autocars Co. Ltd. was founded in the 1950s as Israel's only car manufacturer. Among their popular models are the Susita and the Carmel.

The company was bought by Rom Carmel Industries in 1974, which, in turn, was bought four years later by Urdan Industries . Their last full year of production was 1980.
