Asif Farrukhi is a Pakistani writer and translator. He has translated widely from English into Urdu and vice versa. He has edited and compiled many anthologies of Pakistani writers. He also writes for Dawn and other newspapers, and periodicals on literature.

Dr. Asif Farrukhi is working in a government hospital in Karachi. He studied medicine at Harvard University, USA. His professor and writer father and family background brought him to serve literature in Pakistan.
