The Party Human Environment Animal Welfare (Short form: The Animal Welfare Party, German: Die Tierschutzpartei) is a political party in Germany. It was founded in 1993. Today (2004) it has about 1000 members. Its main goal is the introduction of more animal rights into the German constitution.
