Adrián Annus (born June 28, 1973, Szeged, Hungary) is a hammer thrower from Hungary.
Career
His first trainer was Géza Annus . In 1989 they moved to Szombathely where they live today. He managed to take part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, and in the world championship in Budapest in 1998. His placings in these competions continually improved. In the Paris World Championship he won the hammer throwers' silver medal.
Scandal
He won the gold medal in hammer throw at the 2004 Summer Olympics but was stripped of it after he refused to finish a doping test. He has refused to return his medal. He has said he's become a nervous wreck due to media harassment.
