Adam Penenberg

Adam L. Penenberg is an investigative journalist best known for uncovering the journalistic fraud of The New Republic reporter Stephen Glass in 1998. At the time, he was a journalist working for Forbes Magazine's online Web publication.

As of 2005, Penenberg is an assistant professor of Journalism at New York University. He is also a freelance writer for the New York Times, Forbes, Wired News and Playboy publications. He recently finished a novel called Tragic Indifference: One Man's Battle With the Auto Industry Over the Dangers of SUVs, which is currently being made into a movie.
