The RD-X is a concept car and crossover SUV Honda Motor Co., Ltd. produced under the Acura brand. It débuted at the 2005 North American International Auto Show. It features Advanced Compatibility Engineering , Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive , a two-tone interior with indirect lighting, and a six-spoke steering wheel. Its audio system features nine speakers and a hard disk for storing recorded audio. Autoblog (as cited in "References") expects Honda to offer to the United States public a very similar vehicle by the beginning of 2006. The RD-X is less than one foot shorter than the contemporary MDX.
